Valentine’s Day is right around the corner, and those adorable little conversation hearts are everywhere! Instead of just snacking on them, why not turn them into some cute and fun crafts with your kids? These projects are super easy, inexpensive, and irresistibly cute! Making a craft as a gift for someone for Valentines or really or really for no reason at all is just the best and always appreciated .

1. Conversation Heart Picture Frame

  • A plain wooden picture frame (available at craft stores or dollar stores)
  • Conversation hearts
  • Craft glue or a hot glue gun (for adult use)
  • Mod Podge or clear sealant (optional)
  1. first paint your frame, I choose to use tape & make a stripe design
  2. Arrange the conversation hearts on the frame to plan your design.
  3. Use craft glue or a hot glue gun to attach the hearts onto your frame.
  4. Make sure to take a cute valentines photo to put in the frame!
  5. I decided a bow would be a perfect addition, I found this adorable pink ribbon & tied a bow, and added it to the top of my frame.

I am beyond obsessed with how this frame turned out, this would make an awesome Grandparents gift, or imagine a picture of your baby for their first Valentines day!

2. Pom Pom Ice Cream Cone

what YOU’LL need:
  • piece of cardboard ( I found a fun textured cardboard, but whatever you find will work!)
  • pom poms, I’m using pink, (choose your favorite ice cream flavor;))
  • glue
  • conversation hearts
  • paint & brush

Instructions
  1. I cut my cardboard and a triangle shape to make it look like ice cream cone. In this case I used corrugated cardboard to give my ice cream cone some dimension then I glued it to my pink piece piece of paper.
  2. Next, I arranged my pom-poms on top of my ice cream cone once I liked my layout I glued them on
  3. Next step I picked out the perfect conversation, hearts, and tried to get one of each color. I glued them on top of the pom-poms.

I’m totally thinking this would be so cute on a canvas instead of a piece of paper, or add some extra sparkle with glitter, either way, this is one ice cream cone that will definitely be it making onto our Valentines wall!

3. XO magnets

What you’ll need:
  • popsicle sticks 5 small size
  • conversation hearts
  • glue
  • pain & brush
  • magnets
Instructions
  1. I started by painting my popsicle sticks, I used a pretty pink called pink blast.
  2. Then I cut one of the popsicle sticks in half.
  3. Use glue to make an X with 2 of the popsicle sticks & then use the other 2 remaining long sticks & 2 short sticks to make an O & glue pieces together.
  4. Next glue on conversation hearts.
  5. Add a magnet to the back of each.

This magnet set is too cute, you could even add a picture to the O! After completing the project I would suggest applying the magnets then adding the conversation hearts to make sure none of them fall off while gluing the magnets on.

Happy crafting

These crafts are not only fun but also a great way to spend quality time with your kids while unleashing their creativity. Plus, they’re so easy to make with items you likely already have at home! Give these conversation heart crafts a try this Valentine’s season—you’ll have sweet decorations and lasting memories to cherish.
